  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 small green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced (optional)
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp melted butter (for brushing)
  • ½ tsp sesame seeds (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Instructions:
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F (or fire up the tailgate grill if you have a cast iron skillet!).
  3. Cook the veggies:
  4. Heat 1 tbsp butter in a pan over medium heat.
  5. Sauté onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms until soft (about 5-7 minutes).
  6. Cook the steak:
  7. Push the veggies to the side, add another tbsp of butter.
  8. Cook the steak until browned (about 2-3 minutes).
  9. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  10. Assemble the sliders:
  11. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half (keep the bottom layer intact).
  12. Layer steak, veggies, and provolone slices over the bottom half of the rolls.
  13. Place the top half of the rolls back on.
  14. Brush & Bake:
  15. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  16. Bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
  17. Serve hot & enjoy!
  18. Slice into individual sliders and watch them disappear faster than a Kyle Schwarber home run.
