Ingredients
- Ingredients:
- 1 package (12-count) Hawaiian sweet rolls (or slider buns)
- 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced (or deli roast beef in a pinch)
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 1 small green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced (optional)
- 6 slices provolone cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp melted butter (for brushing)
- ½ tsp sesame seeds (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (or fire up the tailgate grill if you have a cast iron skillet!).
- Cook the veggies:
- Heat 1 tbsp butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Sauté onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms until soft (about 5-7 minutes).
- Cook the steak:
- Push the veggies to the side, add another tbsp of butter.
- Cook the steak until browned (about 2-3 minutes).
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Assemble the sliders:
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half (keep the bottom layer intact).
- Layer steak, veggies, and provolone slices over the bottom half of the rolls.
- Place the top half of the rolls back on.
- Brush & Bake:
- Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
- Serve hot & enjoy!
- Slice into individual sliders and watch them disappear faster than a Kyle Schwarber home run.
