Cerberus Region: A Stunning Fall—and a New Team on Top
The headline moment of Week 13 came when the Maniax, long presumed the favorite to secure the regional bye, were knocked off by the Coolidge Scorpions, 153–122. The loss ended any hopes of a top seed and cracked open the door for the Monarchs—and they marched right through it.
Needing a win to clinch the Cerberus Region's first-round bye, the Monarchs handled their business with a controlled 113–95 victory over the Trolly Potters. A season-long chase ends with the Monarchs finally stepping ahead at the finish line.
Red Dragons Region: Closest Game of the Week
The closest matchup of the entire WRL slate came out of the Red Dragons.
In a surprise result, the Wildcats edged out Turd Ferguson, 157.50–153.72, a razor-thin 3.78-point margin that flipped expectations on their head. Turd Ferguson still ends the season comfortably inside the Tier 1 field, but the stumble cost them momentum entering the postseason.
Krakens Region: Win and You’re In
The Krakens Region delivered a heavyweight bout with direct postseason consequences.
The last two WRL World Champions went head-to-head for a Tier 1 berth, and it was Teds Lasso who landed the knockout blow. A 152–137 win over the Lunatics sealed their postseason ticket and sent the Lunatics sliding into Tier 2. In a season with so many tight races, this was arguably the biggest single-game gateway moment of Week 13.
Loch Ness Region: Monsters Seal the Deal
No drama. No hesitation. Just dominance.
THE Ohio River Monsters, already sitting atop the WRL, cemented their No. 1 overall ranking with a powerful 184–119 victory over Wagyu. It was the final exclamation mark on a season where the Monsters controlled the Loch Ness Region wire to wire and enter the postseason as the undisputed championship favorite.

Tier 1 Playoff Picture
How Tier Qualification Works
Each WRL Region contains three divisions.
• 1st place teams → Tier 1 Playoffs
• 2nd place teams → Tier 2
• 3rd place teams → Tier 3
• 4th place teams → Season over
Within each Tier, the best of the three division winners in each Region earns a first-round bye, while the other two face off in a Divisional Round. Those winners then take on the region’s No. 1 seed in the Regional Final.

Tier 2 and Tier 3
All three Tier brackets have been officially posted on Discord. Tier 2 is stacked with near-miss contenders capable of deep runs, while Tier 3 features a group of teams eager to finish their season with hardware of their own.
