Terrifiers Torch the Scoreboard

Terrifiers Torch the Scoreboard

If Week 7 had a theme, it was fireworks — and nobody lit up the WRL sky brighter than the Terrifiers. Their 218-point eruption wasn’t just the top score of the week — it was the second-highest mark in the entire league this season, leaving the NY Jackets scorched in a 218–142 blowout. The rest of the WRL took notice: the Terrifiers are heating up at the right time.

Over in the Cerberus Region, Groot reminded everyone they’re still a problem, racking up 207 points in a commanding win over the Boss Hoggs, who continue to chase that elusive first victory. Despite putting up a respectable 124 points, Boss Hoggs remain winless through seven weeks.

The Krakens Region delivered drama in smaller doses, but it was still intense. The Bacchanalians edged out the Aviators by just 0.98 points, 142.74–141.76, in a matchup that came down to the wire. But even that wasn’t the closest finish of the week.

That honor belonged to the Red Dragons Region, where CHAOS lived up to their name in the most WRL way possible — winning by just 0.02 points over the Bearcats, 155.34–155.32. It’s officially the narrowest margin of victory in the league this season, and it’ll be hard to top.

With another week in the books, the standings are tightening and the Power Rankings are shifting again. As we head into Week 8, all eyes turn to the marquee matchup between the Maniax and Lucky Ass Ferg, as the WRL’s top team faces one of the league’s fastest risers.

If the last few weeks are any indication, we’re in for more chaos — and maybe even more fireworks.
