Turd Ferguson Lights Up the League

Week 6 in the Wizard Redraft League gave us everything from heartbreaks to blowouts — and a record-shattering offensive explosion that lit up the scoreboard like the Fourth of July.

The headline performance came from Turd Ferguson, who dropped a league-best 223.3 points in a high-octane win over the Powerclaws. The two teams combined for 413.6 total points, the most ever in a single WRL game this season. While Ferguson celebrated the fireworks, it was heartbreak for the Powerclaws — their 190.3-point effort was good enough to go 45–2 in all-play, but not good enough for the win.

Over in the Cerberus Region, the league’s closest game — and the closest of the entire season — came down to just .30 points. The Trolly Potters edged out the Tonawanda Lumbermen 112.38–112.08 in a matchup that won’t soon be forgotten by either sideline.

Meanwhile, in the Krakens Region, the Rum Runners had a week to forget. Their 77-point showing was the lowest total across the league and came in a 160–77 loss to last year’s champion, Teds Lasso.

And in the Loch Ness Region, perseverance paid off. The Nauti Dawgs finally broke through, picking up their first win of the season in a 162–157 victory over Brady Sits Down to #1.

Week 7 Preview

Divisional play returns for Week 7, and the Game of the Week comes out of the Cerberus Region, where the #5 Monarchs face off against the #19 Trolly Potters — fresh off their nail-biting win.

Elsewhere in the Top 25, the #6 Music City Miracles square off with the #24 War Birds, while two past champions meet in a marquee matchup as the #8 Lunatics (2023 champ) take on #11 Teds Lasso (2024 champ).

Other notable contests include the #15 Terrifiers vs. #25 NY Jackets, and the #10 CHAOS taking on the #22 Bearcats.

With records tightening and tempers flaring, Week 7 could be the moment when the standings start to separate the contenders from the crowd.
