Ferguson Dominates as War Birds Escape Nail-Biter

The Wizard Redraft League’s fourth week delivered fireworks across every region, highlighted by Turd Ferguson’s statement victory over the Epidemic Elephants in a clash that lived up to its billing as the Game of the Week. Ferguson’s 213–167 triumph not only handed the Elephants their first loss of 2025, but also produced the highest combined score of the season at 380 points.

In the Cerberus Region, the Monarchs put on a show of their own. Their 200–147 victory over the Average Joes ranked as the third-highest scoring effort of the week and announced their presence as a team to watch.

The Loch Ness Region was home to the second-highest scoring performance of Week 4, courtesy of the Mad Scientist. Their 205–140 dismantling of Totally Turtley was a showcase of firepower that sent a clear warning to future opponents.

Meanwhile, the Krakens Region featured the week’s tightest contest. The War Birds narrowly clipped the Bacchanalians by just 4.52 points, 152.34–147.82, holding off a furious push in one of the closest margins of victory we’ve seen this season.

Looking Ahead: Week 5 Preview

The schedule shifts away from divisional play in Week 5, but the matchups promise no shortage of intrigue. The Game of the Week resides in the Cerberus Region, where the unbeaten Maniax (4-0) square off against the surging Trolly Potters (3-1) in a heavyweight tilt.

In the Krakens Region, two winless squads meet with desperation on the line. Either the Lewisville Sluggers or the Bacchanalians will finally notch their first victory of the year, ensuring one fan base breathes a sigh of relief while the other sinks deeper into early-season frustration.

With four weeks in the books, contenders are beginning to separate themselves — but as this past week reminded us, surprises are never far away in the WRL.
