The WRL draft order shows are done, and if you’re one of the 48 teams in this league, you’ve already replayed that wheel spin in your head at least a dozen times.
We had four shows across two days. Loch Ness and Red Dragons went live Saturday. Cerberus and Krakens locked in on Sunday. There were no major glitches. No envelope conspiracies. Just 48 names flying toward fate.
I’ve seen enough drafts to know this part feels more important than it really is. But it sets the tone. The teams pulling the No. 1 picks?
- E-Thugs (Loch Ness)
- Bearcats (Red Dragons)
- Scorpions (Cerberus)
- Rum Runners (Krakens)
You don’t have to squint too hard to see the weight those four will carry in the early rounds. But remember: nobody wins a league in August. Especially not in the WRL.
The real work starts soon. Each Region’s draft now has an official date and time:
- Red Dragons – August 23 at 4:00 PM ET
- Cerberus – August 24 at 2:00 PM ET
- Loch Ness – August 28 at 7:30 PM ET
- Krakens – August 29 at 7:00 PM ET
Mark your calendars. Set your alarms. Line up your excuses. Draft season is officially underway.
