New York improved to 4-0 all-time against the Red Sox by winning its second meeting of the season, securing the season-series victory regardless of what happens in their Week 22 finale. The Yankees now own the head-to-head tiebreaker should the two clubs finish tied in the standings, keeping themselves firmly in the American League playoff race while dealing Boston another frustrating setback against a familiar rival.
White Sox Shock the Defending Champs - White Sox 214, Rangers 196
One of the biggest surprises of Week 13 came from Chicago's South Side.
The White Sox knocked off defending champion Texas, earning their third victory in four weeks and quietly becoming one of the league's hottest improving clubs. While they're still chasing the Rangers in the AL West, Chicago has suddenly made the division far more interesting than it appeared just a few weeks ago.
